The OMG Only 2 Weeks Until Christmas Holiday Gift Guide

Truthfully I love everything about giving gifts.  It's 100% one of my love languages.  Some people take out the trash to show they care and some of us spend days just wondering what wrapping paper to choose! I (like many of us) just so happen to be in a season of life where I can't give my full obsessive attention to every single detail of gifts that I give (is my clear tape clear enough??) because at this current juncture I spread my energy and my thoughts far and wide.  #toomanytabsopen

So, if you're like me and you realize that the holidays are just a short ways away but you have a LONG way to go on your list, then this post is for you.  It's time to finally stop the procrastinating and get shopping! I spent the weekend paroozing Instagram, Etsy and thinking of some of my favorite shops to compile what will hopefully be the giddy up we all need to close the deal in a meaningful way for this holiday season.

Let the shopping commence! 💸💸💸

Gift Guide for the Accessory Lover

White Dog Rocks

{Local} White Dog Rocks - This kid mom, dog mom, nature loving, awesome chick started her own company. She has always had a love for jewelry and nature, so starting a business that highlights the stunning items Mother Nature provides us seemed like a win win! Tucker aka "White Dog" is her right hand man and the face of her little business. Shop her site and don't forget to follow her on Instagram to keep up with the latest pieces.

Kendra Scott

Kendra Scott - Kendra Scott has forever been a favorite brand of mine.  She started her business when she became a mom, has a huge heart and had dedicated her business to giving back to the local communities it resides in.  If that isn't enough, the jewelry is spectacular.  They just opened a location at Kenwood Mall here in Cincinnati and it's fabulous.  They have some amazing new colors and designs this year as well as some killer home items.  This is something you won't want to miss.

Gifts for Her

{Local} The Co-Op on Camargo - The Co-Op on Camargo houses 5 independently owned women's boutiques. It's your one-stop shop for fashion, gifts & great style at irresistible prices. I've found great stuff for the home, for myself and for the kids here! I personally know the business owners of Ramblin Ritas, one of the boutiques, and they are about as cool as it gets.  Visit their store and follow them on Instagram.

Gift Guide for the Adventure Obsessed / Mountain Chic

Whether they’re a hardcore mountain person or love to just feel cozy and mountain chic by the lodge, there are some really great gift ideas out there.  You can hit some of the technical stores for gear and don't forget about Etsy/mountain chic/adventure lover

Adventure Obsessed | Mountain Chic

{Local} Benchmark - This store has been a Cincinnati favorite since forever. It's full of technical gear that can set you on your way for anything from a camping trip to Houston Woods with the kids to a backpacking trip on the CST. (Yes, that's a Wild reference. I'm obsessed with that movie)

REI - I have a dream. A dream of retiring and moving to Denver to work in the sleeping bag section of REI helping people find their coziest, snuggliest, cutest accessory to their hardcore adventure.  If you need me, I'll be snuggled up and ready to sell. They have amazing gear and a fantastic return policy. They're hard to beat.

Gift Guide for Him

People usually say that guys are hard to shop for, but I happen to be married to one who has 4 trillion hobbies, so I've picked a few for some potential inspiration.

Gifts for Him

{Local} Northside Distilling Co Bourbon - Bourbon is all the craze these days, although I hear tequila is next (YIPPEEE!) why not outfit the local enthusiast with some #cincinnatimade Bourbon from Northside Distilling Company.  If he likes to entertain, you can always round out your gift with the high ball ice cube trays or a snazzy Embroidered Spirits Belts. I saw the cutest one at Pomogranite and Lime, in Mariemont.

{Local} Trevor Furbay Bespoke Tailors - This is a newer menswear store also located in the heart of Mariemont.  Trevor is one of the most knowledgeable, nicest, funnest guy (Rose at the register. Yes please.) guys.  His selection has everything from scarves and gloves to custom shirts and suites.  He knows the industry like the back of his hand and always has a great recommendation.  I highly recommend a visit. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest.

Stitch Fix - If a guy in your life is sick of the same 10 checked shirts or is just looking to refresh his style, you can always sign him up for Stitch Fix.  They send you clothes based on your profile you create.  You buy the ones you love and return the ones you don't (free shipping).  It's as simple as that.

Gift Guide for The Sporty Spice

Fit & Fabulous

{Local} Outfit Active - Although I haven't made my way into the store yet (fully planning to!) I see her stuff on Instagram and it looks amazing. Their clothes are the definition of active fashion.  At this stage of the game it's less about what transitions from day to night, and more about what's comfy that transitions from day to falling asleep in them at 8:30 at night.

Athleta - I'm such a fan. I think their stuff is cute, more affordable than the beloved Lulu, and the fit and stretch of their clothes is so perfect.  Their brand message is all about being a strong female in whatever you do. It's a strong girl club and I want to be a part of it.  They have something for everyone. Either check out their store in Kenwood or duh, buy online.

Orange Theory & Body Alive - If you're looking to round out your sporty gift, consider a gift card to some of these places.  Pro tip - look for the ones that are in the right neighborhood.   Body Alive and Orange Theory are my current two favorite work out studios for the Madiera, Indian Hill, Terrace Park, Mariemont crowd but there are so many other great ones in town like Define in Oakley or Inner Fire Fitness and The Barre Code downtown.

Gift Guide for the Crazy Craft Lady

Paper Passion

Paper Source - This place is my mecca.  I love paper goods as much as I love wine and coffee.  I know, right?  I used to visit Paper Source every week when I lived in New York, but now I visit online when I need some new werk flair in my life.  It's like visiting with an old friend.  It has everything from the most perfect wrapping paper, customizable journals, great pens, craft kits and SO MUCH more. I follow them on Instagram just to keep my #lifegoals on point.

Gift Guide for the Home Enthusiast

For the Home

{Local} Elm and Iron - Whether someone just moved into a new home or really just takes a lot of pride in their abode, Elm and Iron in OTR has the coolest stuff.  I could get lost in their succulent garden displays and boy do they bring a strong pillow game! (#strongpillowgame).  I personally want to adorn our giant couch with zip code pillows of all the places I've lived. Follow their Instagram account to be inspired.

The Citizenry - There is no greater goal as a parent than nap goals and Citizenry has just what you need.  Their Instagram account is like a heavenly gathering of comfy throws in beautiful patterns.

Gift Guide for the Personalized Perfectionist

Personalized Perfection

The Monogram Corner - I just can't get enough of The Monogram Corner.  She has the cutest ideas and selections.  I've scored some really great teacher gifts here, wedding shower gifts and more.  It makes me want to put my name on EVERYTHING.

{Local} Jules and Bing - This store is another adorable Mariemont find!  It has such a great range of cute gift ideas and has such a quick turn around. Personalization is also included in their pricing, which is much appreciated.  You can also bring something of your own and they'll personalize it for you.  Score!

Gift Guide for Your Cuties

Gifts for Kids

{Local} Castle House and King Arthur's Court are Cincinnati staples.  Even though I'm only 29 (again) I remember going to both stores when I was a little girl.  They get extra bonus points because they're so close to each other in Hyde Park/Oakley that it makes for a super efficient shopping trip.   Castle House has the cutest clothes and such fun accessories like ribbon Uggs, Sparkly backpacks and hello, light up tutus!! King Arthur's Court has the worlds most amazing lego selection and their stuffed animals are every kid's dream.  Honestly, this store covers all the bases for any kid.  I'm headed their later this week to check out their art kit selection for my big ones as well as their farm animal and car selection for my littlest dynamic duo.  #neighneigh #beepbeep

Gift Guide Honorable Mention

Let's not forget those who love animals, love our children, those who help others, those who love coffee and those who are just wonderful and gift-worthy in general.  Below are some of the cutest little finds that I stumbled across in my Etsy searches.  It just doesn't get any more adorable then some of these below.

Gift List Honorable Mention

THat's a wrap.  OMG pun sooooo intended!  I hope that this post helped inspire all of those who haven't quite finished out their list yet.  It's a busy time of year but really such a special time.  It's full of the good stress - the kind that brings you cute holiday cards, cookies, late nights of toy assembly and wrapping, and don't forget the oops I had too much wine events.

Good luck everybody! Happy holidays!!! xoxo
